Today, on November 12, the Avtotor factory in the Kaliningrad region has begun to manufacture the Kia Cerato sedan using the complete production cycle with welding and painting of the body. The SKD assembly was applied to make this vehicle before.
The Kia Cerato has become the second model of the Korean brand transferred to the complete production cycle: Avtotor started to manufacture the Sorento crossovers a year ago. A new line with the capacity of up to 50 thousand cars a year was specially constructed at the factory to produce the Kia vehicles.
