Taiwanese Luxgen 7 SUV is about to hit Russia as the car assembly started at the Cherkessk-based Derways car factory on August 28. Two partners are planning to assemble 1500 SUVs—fitted with the 2.2 Li 175 hp turbo engine and six-speed A/T—until the end of the year. It is known that the cars will be marketed both in FWD and AWD modifications, but the prices have not been revealed yet. According to the preliminary information, the basic SUV modification will be priced at about 1.2 mln rubles or ~$36,500.
