Turismo in its motherland, meanwhile in Europe and Russia the car is called Stavic. Though the vehicle size (its body length is 5,13 meters, ~17 feet) and the insides, which are similar to the former Rodius model, remain the same, its external design has been completely renewed.
SsangYong Stavic will go on sale powered by the 2 Li 149 hp turbodiesel engine or V6 3.2 Li 220 hp gas row engine. The diesel-powered car will be sold either rear-driven or with the plug-in AWD, but the gas-powered vehicles will only be available in a fully-featured AWD version. The cars have seven seats in the salon and are fitted either with the six-speed M/T or five-speed A/T.
And though the vehicles will be shipped to Russia only in October, the official dealers of the Korean car brand have already started taking pre-orders for SsangYong Stavic. The estimated price is 1,029,000 rubles or ~$32,000 for a rear-driven diesel-powered car with manual gearbox.
