After Chrysler concern passed into ownership of Fiat back in 2011, some American vehicles have gone on sale in Europe branded as Lancia and Fiat. One of these cars is Dodge Journey minivan and now it is dubbed as Fiat Freemont.
Fiat Freemont managed to hit Russia only following a two-year-long delay. In order to avoid confusion and unnecessary competition between the two, the vendor decided to sell these cars fitted with different power units. While Dodge is powered by the V6 3.6 Li 280 hp engine and comes as an AWD, Fiat Freemont will be available only as a front-wheel car and will be fitted with the V4 2.4-liter 170 hp engine and six-speed A/T. The new Fiat is priced at 1,199,000 rubles or ~$38,000.
