Back in August AvtoVAZ car factory produced the first 100 unit batch of the second generation Lada Kalina hatchbacks equipped with the electronic stability program. Bit by bit the overall production volume of these cars will be increased, while in the foreseeable future Granta and Priora cars will be fitted with ESP too. The ESP vendor is German company Bosch. Drivers can disable the system unless the speed is not higher than 50 kmh or 31 mph. New fully-featured ESP Lada Kalinas are priced at 465,000 rubles or ~$14,000.
