This summer the SKD assembly of Ford Kuga crossovers intended for sale in the Russian market have started at Ford Sollers factory in Yelabuga. It was just today that the company announced its decision to proceed to the full cycle assembly of the cars, welding and body painting works included. Now Ford Kuga vehicles may be purchased from the official dealers starting at 949,000 rubles or ~$29,500. The car is sold either FWD or AWD and is powered by two turbo-charged engines: the gas 1.6 Li engine and the 2-liter turbodiesel power unit.
